b. 1992

Inspired by 17th-century Dutch vanitas paintings, my work is a personal exploration of the human condition, focusing on its darker and more unsettling aspects. Using symbolic objects and imagery, I aim to evoke memories of the past while hinting at an uncertain future, creating a dialogue between what was, what is, and what could be.

Each painting is an intimate study of the mind’s shadowed spaces, inviting both myself and the viewer into a reflective space where reality and imagination meet. Through this process, I seek to inspire contemplation on the fragility of life, the inevitability of change, and the raw, often uncomfortable truths that lie just beneath the surface of our experiences.
